I paint in acrylic on mounted cotton canvas supports using photographs supplied by my clients..

I paint any animal,dogs cats birds horses etc and can combine two photographs onto one painting if required. Or paint several small paintings to make a display.

Prices vary according to size of finished painting, complexity of the animal ( a short haired Jack Russel takes less time than a Pekinese) and number of animals on the portrait.

The following is a sample of the popular sizes.

20 cm X 20 cms R750 to R850 25 cms X 25 cms R950 to R1100 30 cms X 30 cms R1300 to R1600 20 cms X 25 cms R850 to R950

I use rectangular sizes if the animal is lying down or sitting upright and like to quote those individually.

I do require photographs that are in focus, not too close so that there is distortion or too far away so it becomes fuzzy when enlarged. It is preferable to send several photographs if possible as then I can judge which will work the best as a painting. Photographs taken at the same level as the animal are a bonus. I prefer to receive photographs either by whats app or by e-mail. contact details below.

I use PostNet couriers to deliver to non local destinations. Their charge at present is R130 including packaging and they take 3 days to the major centers

Otherwise paintings can be collected from me in Heather Park George or at the Outeniqua Family Market on Saturday mornings. ​*The lead time for completion is about 2 weeks.
